Stepping down as editor after 40 years

It was a very special day on 31st August 2016 when Jackie Fuller stepped down as editor of the North Laine Runner after 40 years.

Party to pay tribute

Around 35 people gathered to pay tribute at a party in Tidy Street and Jackie was presented with flowers, a cake and a framed front page in her honour.

Message from a former North Laine resident

Sending a message which summed up everyone’s feelings, former Pelham Square resident Diane Warburton wrote: “Jackie has done the most amazing job over all these years… it often falls to the editor to do such a lot of the work and make sure it happens every time. And Jackie has just been wonderful throughout.”
