60th birthday celebration at Pavilion Gardens Cafe

By Jackie Fuller, North Laine resident

Longer term North Laine residents will remember Peter Stocker, who used to run the Workshop Pottery in Trafalgar Street. At one time he was Chair of the North Laine Community Association and then, jointly with others, he set up the North Laine Traders Association and was its Chair and then Secretary until he and his wife Sally moved to Aylesbury.

Recently celebrated his 60th birthday

Peter recently celebrated his 60th birthday and chose to spend the day (31st August 2013) here in Brighton with all his local friends, both traders and residents.

Informal tea party

An informal afternoon tea party was held at the Pavilion Gardens Cafe, complete with a birthday cake and tea provided by cafe owner David Sewell.
