We also want your thoughts about the area today

By Peter Crowhurst, NLCA Vice-Chair

A group of residents is busily working on the material for a new book about North Laine[April 2011].  It will cover the early development of the area from around the early 19th century up to the rejuvenation of North Laine in the last 30 years.

Old photos wanted

We are looking for old photographs of the area which might be lurking in attics or hidden away in boxes etc, for possible inclusion in the book. Please let us know whether you have any by contacting me as below.

What is it like in North Laine today?

We also want your thoughts on what it’s like living in North Laine today. These will complement the reminiscences of living in the area in the periods just before and after World War Two.

Email your thoughts

Please email your thoughts on this too, or if you would like a member of the team to visit you to record your thoughts, just let us know.
